Red Bull Revolutions In Sound

On 14th November 2013, the UK’s 30 most legendary clubs came alive in the heart of London.

30 Revolutionary Clubs — One Landmark Night

Red Bull Music Academy returned to the EDF Energy London Eye for an epic celebration of UK club culture.

Every capsule saw one legendary club night come alive with the original line-up of resident DJs and superstar guests, from Fac51 The Haçienda to Fabric, Blitz Club to Boiler Room.

With performances that stretched across genres, eras and postcodes, highlights came from Mark Ronson playing a vinyl-only DJ set alongside Lily Allen who gave a rendition of her new single Hard Out Here. Elsewhere, Katy B joined Skream, whilst Richie Hawtin returned to his roots in the Lost capsule and Rudimental let rip above the city that inspired their astonishing rise.

Meanwhile at the foot of the London Eye, 2,000 punters shook the pavement in silence at a Silent Disco featuring the likes of Ashley Beedle and Academy graduate Jackmaster.

Off-site, an audience of more than a million viewers tuned in from around the world to catch the action online via YouTube and Channel4.com.
