Eskimo Dance

Seminal grime night Eskimo Dance is back with a bang – watch the Boy Better Know crew on the mic, and you’ll know why.

Founded by Wiley, Eskimo Dance was instrumental in the grime boom of the ’00s, aiming to “get all of the scene members under one roof” with fierce MC battles and regular surprise appearances by some of the rising genre's most stellar artists. When it returned in 2012 after a six-year hiatus, Eskimo Dance picked up where it left off in 2006: joined by JME, Jammer, P Money and others, Wiley showed there’s still an appetite for raw grime away from the poppier chart sounds. He packed thousands into London’s IndigO2, before venturing to Ayia Napa and several cities across the UK.
