Hedonism is part of Manchester’s DNA: the city is, after all, responsible for one of the world’s most famous and mythologised-about clubs, The Haçienda. Those days are long gone, but such a spirit can still be found every winter at The Warehouse Project. For 12 weeks from late September until New Year’s Eve, the WHP takes over one of the city’s cavernous warehouse spaces and injects it with groundbreaking new sounds from the world’s best labels, club nights, DJs and live acts from across the electronic spectrum. Sven Väth, Pete Tong, The Chemical Brothers, Aphex Twin, Thom Yorke – no dance musician worth their electronic stripes misses a chance to play here. So it's only fitting that for Red Bull Revolutions In Sound, one of undisputed men of the moment, Julio Bashmore will host a special session featuring friends and fam including fellow Bristolian Kowton and his own collaborative project Velour, Hyetal. They will be supported by WHP's longest standing resident DJ, Krysko.
